Isu of M.C the Max is touching hearts with a new song filled with deep respect and memories for the late Shin Hae-chul.
Released on May 15, Isu’s new single “A Boy From The Moon (2026)” is already creating a buzz with an enthusiastic response from fans.
This new track is a 2026 emotional reinterpretation of a song from the first album “Delete” by the band Moon Child, which served as Isu’s musical roots. The song is especially meaningful as it is a posthumous work of the late producer Shin Hae-chul (CROM), who led Moon Child’s musical direction at the time.
Isu chose May 15, Teacher’s Day, as the release date to express his longing and respect for the late mentor who helped him establish his musical identity. This is seen as a sincere tribute to the master rather than just a promotional event.
Isu previously gave a sneak peek of the song during the opening stage of his solo concert “Wintering” in February. The explosive demand from fans at the venue became the deciding factor for the official release. Isu shared his emotions on SNS, saying, “When I first encountered the demo in my senior year of high school, it felt like a dream that an artist I admired had personally gifted me a song.” He added, “I sang this while longing for those who have returned to their own stars,” adding a touching layer to the release.
The narrative is visually completed through the music video. The story of a boy from the moon who transcends time and space to bloom as an artist on Earth organically connects the young Isu from the Moon Child days to the vocalist Isu of today. This proves how the musical seeds sown by Shin Hae-chul have fully bloomed over 26 years.
Starting with the release of “A Boy From The Moon (2026),” Isu plans to continue communicating with fans through various musical endeavors.
