Starship Entertainment is not playing around! The agency announced on the 11th via its official accounts that it is taking continuous legal action against defamation, the spread of false rumors, sexual harassment, personal attacks, and privacy violations targeting IVE members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo.
The agency made it clear that creating and spreading malicious content targeting the artists is strictly illegal and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This legal move is backed by a massive amount of evidence collected through fan reports and internal monitoring. The investigation covers major communities such as X (formerly Twitter), DC Inside, Nate Pann, Instiz, and Theqoo, as well as platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Starship warned that deleting posts, switching them to private, or changing accounts won’t help, as the evidence has already been submitted for criminal lawsuits. They also revealed they have secured significant evidence regarding the creation and distribution of manipulated materials, including deepfakes, which have become a serious social issue. The agency emphasized that it will continue to take strict legal measures, pursuing both criminal and civil lawsuits.
The agency reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy, stating, “These actions cannot be justified for any reason, and we will punish those responsible to the fullest extent of the law.” Fans are showing their full support for the agency’s strong determination to protect the artists’ rights and foster a healthy fan culture.
