Jang Min-ho is bringing back his “Ho-makase” on ‘Stars’ Top Recipe’ for his favorite trot nephews and nieces, Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho!
In the May 15 episode of KBS 2TV ‘Stars’ Top Recipe’, the “gentleman of the kitchen” Jang Min-ho opens his “Ho-makase” once again. This time, the guests are his beloved trot juniors, Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho. Expect big laughs from the chaotic chemistry between Gen X uncle Jang Min-ho and the Gen Alpha middle schoolers who have him completely wrapped around their fingers.
In the VCR, Jang Min-ho complains of a headache from the moment his noisy guests arrive. The guests who left him clutching the back of his neck are Kim Tae-yeon, who has grown into a young lady after expanding from gugak to trot, and trot prodigy Hwang Min-ho, who visited “Ho-makase” a year ago. Jang Min-ho exclaimed that they are the most demanding guests he has ever had.
Soon after, Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho brought out ingredients from their backpacks to request a meal. However, the ingredients were completely absurd, leading Jang Min-ho to react in disbelief, asking, “Why did you bring drinking snacks?” Despite his confusion, he immediately challenged himself to create dishes that would hit the spot. What are the favorite ingredients requested by the Gen Alpha duo, and can Jang Min-ho satisfy their tastes?
Throughout the cooking process, Gen X uncle Jang Min-ho and the Gen Alpha duo provided endless laughs with their chaotic banter. Kim Tae-yeon and Hwang Min-ho bombarded him with Gen Alpha slang that he could not understand and teased him by saying, “Uncle, you are Gen X.” Triggered by the kids, Jang Min-ho fought back with surprising childishness, leading the other ‘Stars’ Top Recipe’ members to jokingly criticize him, asking, “Do you really have to go that far against middle schoolers?”
