Singer Jang Yoon-jeong recently got a bit emotional after seeing a comment about the condition of her voice.
On the 14th, a video titled “Youtuber who replies to comments with their voice” was uploaded to Jang Yoon-jeong’s YouTube channel.
After learning how to leave voice comments, Jang Yoon-jeong decided to reply to her fans personally. While browsing, she spotted a comment saying, “You’re healing with children like your daughters,” and jokingly reacted, “That’s true. I’m triggered. Being triggered means it’s true, right?” which gave fans a good laugh.
Finding the feature fascinating, she noted, “Many celebrities will probably follow suit,” while proudly claiming, “I’m number one. I did it first!”

However, she was taken aback by a comment that read, “Factory Manager’s voice is getting… you should take care of your throat. You’re not in your 20s or 30s anymore.” Making a “Bbu-aeng” sound as she got emotional, she replied via voice comment, “I’ll work hard on taking care of my throat. Thank you for worrying about me.” She added that she wants to do this periodically, as it encourages fans to leave more interesting comments.
Meanwhile, Jang Yoon-jeong previously spoke honestly about the slump in her 2024 concert ticket sales. She stated, “I don’t think the trot craze has cooled down, nor do I think ticket prices are the reason. The clear reason is that my popularity is not what it used to be.” She vowed to continue doing her best to create stages that provide emotion, resonance, and memories.
Following this, a controversy arose claiming she performed mostly with lip-syncing on one of her stages. In response, Jang Yoon-jeong’s team clarified, “For dance songs, we play a recording with the voice in the accompaniment while she sings live. It is true that we receive some help when her condition is poor or the on-site sound system is not perfect.” However, they emphasized, “We absolutely do not do lip-syncing where she just moves her lips to the recording.”
