Singer Gu Su-gyeong has led the Korean team to a dramatic comeback with an overwhelming victory in the ‘2026 Korea-Japan Singer Match’.
In the 4th episode of MBN’s ‘2026 Korea-Japan Singer Match’ aired on the 5th, Gu Su-gyeong went head-to-head against Japan’s Shimokita Hina and emerged victorious.
The episode featured the third round of the finals. With the first and second rounds ending in draws, the third round was conducted as a ‘1-on-1 on-site nomination’ battle.
Korea and Japan remained neck-and-neck with a 3-3 tie in the third round. As all eyes turned to the final showdown, Gu Su-gyeong took the stage, prompting reactions from the Japanese contestants who expressed their eagerness to compete with her.
