Jeon In-hwa revealed that she married Yoo Dong-geun at the young age of 24, even though her mother was against it.
Actress Jeon In-hwa appeared on the KBS 1TV show ‘Hwang Shin-hye’s Let’s Live Together’ aired on the 13th.
During the show, when asked if her family opposed her marrying at 24, Jeon In-hwa shared, “My mom was against it. She had visited a fortune teller who predicted her daughter would get married. One day, she asked if I had a boyfriend, and from that moment on, she was constantly checking up on me. It was total chaos!”
She continued, “Even now, my daughter is over 30, but the thought of her getting married, having a baby, and taking care of a home feels terrible to me. My mom says I wasn’t in my right mind back then. Now that I think about it, I realize how heartbroken my mother must have been. I think I’d feel betrayed if my daughter did the same. After I got married, my aunt told me, ‘Your mother wandered the streets in distress after you left.’ Now that I’m older, hearing that makes me realize it’s exactly how I feel when I look at my own daughter.”
