Ji Sung, Ha Yoon Kyung, Park Byung Eun, and Moon So Ri are teaming up for the new drama ‘Apartment’!
Scheduled to premiere in July, JTBC’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Apartment’ (Written by Kim Yoon Young / Directed by Cho Yong Won) is a human-centric drama. It follows Park Hae Kang, a former boss of the Oasis-pa, who runs for the apartment resident representative council to get his hands on some “blind money” and ends up tackling corruption alongside the residents. The show promises a new era of caper comedies by focusing on long-term repair funds, something every apartment dweller can relate to!
Known for his incredible presence in every role, Ji Sung is set to heat up the second half of the year with a fresh transformation into a humanistic character. Ji Sung plays Park Hae Kang, a legendary former boss of the Oasis-pa with a 0% unpaid debt record. He aims to become the resident representative to secure 10 billion won in capital to save Yong, who is like a father to him. Fans can look forward to a “four-step combo” of action, comedy, charisma, and sincerity from Ji Sung!
Ha Yoon Kyung, who earned rave reviews for her “womance” acting in her previous work, will bring flexibility to the plot as a central character. She plays Kang Ha Ri, whose dream is to become a lawyer at the prestigious firm We Partners, but in reality, she works part-time at their free consultation desk. Feeling sorry for her sister, she lies about passing the bar exam and getting hired at We Partners, leading her to get entangled with Park Hae Kang (Ji Sung). Ha Yoon Kyung will showcase her boldest charm yet and a dedicated performance as the ultimate chemistry fairy!
Park Byung Eun, a “trusted actor” known for his multi-dimensional performances, joins the cast as the luxury villain Lee Chung Won to ramp up the tension. Lee Chung Won is a construction company CEO and penthouse resident who has it all: looks, wealth, eloquence, and wit. He will stand as a sharp adversary to Park Hae Kang, who is eyeing the repair funds.
Moon So Ri, who radiates explosive energy in every project, takes on the role of Jang Sook Jin, a notorious busybody who doesn’t have enough hours in the day. She will bring unpredictable charm and vitality to the drama. While Jang Sook Jin is a chatty character who knows everything about apartment life and its residents, she plays a crucial role in resolving the major incidents at the heart of the story. All eyes are on Moon So Ri’s latest “character possession” acting!
