Actress Jin Seo-yeon has revealed that she plans to focus on taking a break for a while after her current play concludes.
On May 14, Jin Seo-yeon shared on her SNS, “Because I’ve pushed my mind to the point of overload, it feels like my body is instinctively shutting down. I’ve never experienced this level of overload in both my body and mind,” expressing her accumulated fatigue.
Recently, in the play ‘His Mother’, Jin Seo-yeon played the role of Brenda, a mother who falls apart following her son’s crime, delivering a powerful performance filled with extreme emotions. It appears that the intense emotional demands of the role have taken a significant toll on her physical strength.
With the show nearing its end, she posted “4 days left” and added, “Once this project is over, I am absolutely not doing anything,” making it clear that she intends to prioritize complete rest over jumping into her next project.
The play ‘His Mother’, starring Jin Seo-yeon, will hold its final performance on May 17 at the Myeongdong Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul.
