Actress Jun Ji-hyun brought laughter to fans with her candid talk and unexpected, easygoing charm.

On the 16th, a video titled “Outing is Just an Excuse” was released on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun’ as part of the ‘Pinggyego’ series. The episode featured Yoo Jae-suk and Nam Chang-hee, along with the lead actors of the movie ‘Gunche’—Jun Ji-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, and Koo Kyo-hwan—who shared a lighthearted and pleasant conversation.

Jun Ji-hyun caught everyone’s attention by revealing that she arrived at the set 30 minutes before filming started. When Yoo Jae-suk asked if she was always early during the filming of ‘Gunche’, Koo Kyo-hwan joked, “Yes. She arrives early and leaves quickly. I’m pretty fast myself, but she leaves so quickly it’s like she’s warping,” sparking laughter.

Jun Ji-hyun honestly admitted, “I do my best while I’m on set. I act as if we’ll be together forever. I’m devoted, like ‘I’ll give you everything forever’.” However, she added, “But when I go home, I leave with the mindset of ‘I’m living my own life,’ as if I’ll never see them again,” which left the cast in stitches.

Hearing this, Koo Kyo-hwan added to the laughter, saying, “She really keeps you guessing. During filming, she’s the ‘best noona,’ but the moment she leaves, she suddenly becomes ‘sunbaenim’.”

When the topic of company dinners came up, all three agreed that they love them. Ji Chang-wook “exposed” her, saying, “Noona gets so excited during dinners that she shouts,” adding that she has a surprising amount of energy.

Koo Kyo-hwan also shared, “She’s a bit intimidating but also great and friendly,” while adding, “I’m careful because I’m afraid I might make a mistake,” making the set burst into laughter. Jun Ji-hyun quickly tried to clarify, saying, “I’m actually a very lighthearted person…”

Koo Kyo-hwan praised her easygoing charm, saying, “That’s true. It was really fun. We even danced locking together before the shoot started.” However, he added, “But after having so much fun, she doesn’t contact us once it’s over. That’s why it’s even more confusing,” causing another round of laughter.

When the conversation turned to MBTI, Jun Ji-hyun revealed her type is ESFJ. Showing off her social skills, she said, “I’m very extroverted. I can get close to someone in just two hours.” Her human side shone through her candid and refreshing way of speaking.

Meanwhile, ‘Gunche’ is a film about survivors trapped in a building sealed off due to a mysterious infection, fighting against infected beings that evolve in unpredictable ways. The movie stars Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Kim Shin-rok, and Go Soo, and is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, known for ‘Train to Busan’, ‘Peninsula’, and ‘Face’. It opens on the 21st.
