Comedian Jung Ju-ri is still dreaming of more children, even while busy raising her five sons!
On May 7, Jung Ju-ri shared updates on her parenting journey through her personal account, posting photos of her first and fifth sons. The photos show the 9-year age gap between her eldest, Do-yoon, and her youngest, Do-jun. Fans noticed that the youngest is wearing clothes passed down from his big brother.
Jung Ju-ri captioned the post, “Our No. 1 and No. 5,” adding, “I’m so sad that No. 5 is growing up too quickly, so I scolded my husband last night, asking why he did that.” She expressed her feelings, saying, “Seeing No. 5 wearing the clothes No. 1 used to wear makes me feel how frighteningly fast time flies.”
She further joked, “So honey, please undo it, sob sob,” indirectly mentioning her husband’s vasectomy and her wish for a sixth child, which sparked laughter among fans.
Jung Ju-ri had previously revealed her husband’s vasectomy on her YouTube channel last year. At the time, she honestly shared, “There were questions about whether we’re planning for a sixth, but we decided to stop at five,” while adding, “But after the surgery, I strangely felt a sense of regret.”
Currently, Jung Ju-ri is leading a busy life raising five brothers. She has been gaining a lot of sympathy from other parents by sharing her realistic daily life as a mom, including attending school open classes and consultation sessions.
She also previously confessed to experiencing hair loss after five births, candidly sharing the physical changes she went through, saying, “A handful of hair would come out in the drain every time I washed my hair.”
Jung Ju-ri married a non-celebrity man one year her junior in 2015. After giving birth to her first son that same year, she welcomed more sons in 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024, becoming the mother of five boys.
