Singer JYP is returning to the Waterbomb Seoul stage for the second consecutive year!
On May 6, the official Waterbomb SNS accounts shared the news, stating, “All-time legend, we can’t miss this! JYP is back,” adding, “He returns to the stage for Waterbomb 2026,” ramping up anticipation.
According to the released poster, JYP will perform on the TEAM GREEN stage at Waterbomb Seoul 2026 on July 26.
Last year, JYP became a massive talking point with his bold hot pink see-through halter neck and vinyl pants. He completely owned the venue with his incredible energy and performances of hits like “Don’t Leave Me,” “She Was Pretty,” “Honey,” “Who’s Your Mother,” and “When We Disco,” proving that age is just a number.
Later, appearing on MBC’s “Radio Star,” JYP shared some behind-the-scenes details, saying, “I was honestly surprised when I got the offer. I even asked my staff first if it was too much.” He explained, “Vinyl felt too obvious, so I went with hot pink, and I chose a halter neck because it’s easier to dance in when wet. I even lost 5kg in two weeks for Waterbomb!”
Waterbomb Seoul 2026 will take place from July 24 to 26 at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The star-studded lineup includes JYP, Jay Park, Taemin, RIIZE, Sunmi, BIBI, KISS OF LIFE, CHANGMO, Lee Young Ji, Shownu X Hyungwon, Loco, and Gray.
