The SBS drama ‘Try: We Become Miracles’, starring Yoon Kye-sang, has achieved an incredible honor at the Houston International Film Festival!

According to SBS on the 15th, ‘Try’ won the Grand Prize in the TV, Cable, and Web Content category at the 59th Houston International Film Festival.

Held in Houston, Texas, the Houston International Film Festival is one of the oldest independent film festivals in the world, having started in 1961. It is well-known as a launching pad for emerging directors and creators.

Director Jang Young-seok shared his excitement, saying, “This great result was possible thanks to Studio S CEO Hong Seong-chang and my colleagues who supported us in every way.” He added, “I want to share this honor with senior actor Yoon Kye-sang and the rest of the cast who worked so hard together from the scorching summer to the freezing winter.”

‘Try’, which wrapped up on August 30 last year, is a comic sports drama about the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team. Facing the threat of closure, the team strives for victory at the National Sports Festival alongside Joo Ga-ram (played by Yoon Kye-sang), a former Asian Cup champion and known ‘troublemaker’. The series earned praise for its realistic portrayal of rugby, a less popular sport in Korea, while delivering an immersive growth story for its characters.
