Kang Yu-gyeong Makes Her Move! A Tangled Night in Tokushima on Heart Signal 5

The eight residents of Heart Signal 5 are heading to Tokushima, Japan, amidst a chaotic web of love lines!

In the 6th episode of Channel A’s Heart Signal 5 (directed by Park Chul-hwan and Kim Hong-gu), airing Tuesday at 10 PM, the eight residents (Park Woo-yeol, Kim Seong-min, Kim Seo-won, Jung Jun-hyun, Kim Min-ju, Jung Gyu-ri, Kang Yu-gyeong, and Choi So-yoon) will be caught in a whirlwind of complex emotions while dating during their trip to Tokushima, Japan.

Upon arriving in Japan, the residents head to the beach by car. In the car, Kang Yu-gyeong sits next to Park Woo-yeol with a bright smile and creates a heart-fluttering moment by naturally leaning on his shoulder when the car shakes. At the beach, she has a pleasant conversation with Park Woo-yeol and reveals her determination to get closer to him, saying, “Let’s even walk the path of thorns.” Now fully “awakened,” Kang Yu-gyeong heightens the tension by mentioning the movie date Park Woo-yeol previously suggested during their carpool, telling him, “I want to watch a movie when we return (from Japan).” Having previously suppressed her feelings for Park Woo-yeol to the point of bursting into tears, all eyes are on whether she has decided to go full-speed ahead during this Japan trip.

Meanwhile, during a group meal, Kim Seo-won courageously asks for a date, saying, “I actually want to spend this evening with noona.” On the other hand, Kim Seong-min looks at Kang Yu-gyeong and says, “I’ve never had a chance to talk to Yu-gyeong,” leaving Kim Min-ju feeling bitter. In a private interview, Kim Min-ju reveals her jealousy and sadness, saying, “The person I like likes someone else…”

Amidst this, the residents share deeper conversations during their 1:1 dates in Japan. “Catfish girl” Choi So-yoon asks a date a meaningful question: “Do you prefer something familiar or something new?” Meanwhile, Jung Gyu-ri remarks during her date, “I’m scared. They are someone whose true feelings are impossible to read.” While fans wonder if both are referring to Park Woo-yeol, Kim Seo-won shares his sincere heart, saying, “If I really come to like someone, I think I’ll just keep liking them even if they don’t accept me,” “Fate can be changed,” and “If it doesn’t work out, it can’t be helped. But I’ll put in every effort until the end.”

You can catch the story of the eight residents and their tangled love lines during their Japan trip in episode 6 of Channel A’s Heart Signal 5, airing Tuesday at 10 PM.
