On the 20th, a press conference for the new variety show ‘Survival King 2’ was held at the TV Chosun studio in Gasan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. ‘Survival King 2’ is a global national competition survival program aimed at finding the top survival king in Asia, and the event served as an introduction to the program for reporters before its premiere.
However, cast member Kim Byung-man arrived 20 minutes late, citing rain as the reason. Kim Byung-man hurried in just as other cast members, including Kim Jong-kook, Yuk Jun-seo, and THE BOYZ Younghoon, were finishing their photo session. After he took his photos, the press conference began. Notably, Kim Byung-man did not offer a separate apology for his tardiness.
This isn’t the first time, as Kim Byung-man was also about 15 minutes late to the launch ceremony for ‘Praying in the Himalayas’ back in March. In that instance, the other cast members also proceeded with the photo session without him. With repeated lateness at official events, criticism regarding Kim Byung-man’s attitude continues to grow.
