Actor Kim Dong-hee, who was previously embroiled in a school violence controversy, has shared a glimpse of his recent activities.
On the 25th, Kim Dong-hee posted several photos on his social media accompanied by a four-leaf clover emoji.
In the revealed photos, Kim Dong-hee is seen striking various poses near a body of water, appearing to be in the middle of a shoot. Another photo shows him surrounded by staff while getting his hair touched up.
Kim Dong-hee previously established himself as a rising star through appearances in the web drama A-TEEN, as well as SKY Castle and Itaewon Class. However, he halted his activities in 2021 following allegations that he bullied a disabled classmate.
While suing the accuser, referred to as “A,” for defamation, he partially admitted to the school violence. He acknowledged actions such as pushing or kicking the victim’s chest but stated, “I never held scissors or a cutter knife, nor did I even pretend to.”

In his official statement, Kim Dong-hee explained, “In the 5th grade of elementary school, I had an argument and fought with a classmate, for which I was reprimanded by my teacher.” He added, “After being scolded by my mother, I visited the friend’s house with her to apologize to both the friend and their mother.”
He continued, “Since we spent a lot of time together without issues afterward, I think I assumed I had been forgiven. I didn’t realize that this was only my own thought and failed to consider that the wounds still remained for them.”
He also confessed, “I wanted to apologize to my friend immediately, but I couldn’t find the courage because I was afraid my apology would be taken as an admission of everything, including things I didn’t do, leading to further misunderstandings.”
Kim Dong-hee expressed his regret, saying, “Due to my rash judgment and thoughts as a child, I failed to deeply consider my friend’s feelings. I sincerely apologize for the pain that friend suffered and wish to resolve this moving forward.” He further bowed his head in apology to anyone else hurt by his immature words and actions during his childhood.
Meanwhile, Kim Dong-hee signed an exclusive contract with Neo S Entertainment this past January and has been active in Japan.
