On May 4, Kim Dong-wan shared on his Threads account, “These days, I always consult GPT before posting. I use it for organizing sentences, checking for errors, and assessing the possibility of controversy. I’m so glad we’re in the AI era.”
He added, “Of course, I have to handle the final polish myself. AI is still a bit shameless.”
When a fan expressed sympathy, saying, “We live in a world where you have to be so cautious about everything you write,” Kim Dong-wan replied, “I definitely need to be cautious.”
Recently, Kim Dong-wan has faced several controversies stemming from his posts on Threads.
Back in March, he posted a message of support for MC Ding Dong, who was sued for assault after allegedly grabbing a female BJ’s hair during a live stream. As the backlash grew, Kim Dong-wan deleted the post and explained, “It was an expression that didn’t sufficiently consider the situation.”
Prior to that, he faced criticism for posting about the legalization of prostitution and for defending M.C the Max member Isu, who had previously halted activities due to a prostitution record.
Additionally, he sparked controversy last month after confessing that he had been smoking since his teenage years.
