Kim Jae-won from ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’ has opened up about his ideal type!
In a video uploaded to his personal YouTube channel on the 3rd, Kim Jae-won caught fans’ attention by revealing that he is attracted to people who resemble him.
While on the set of tvN’s ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’, Kim Jae-won couldn’t take his eyes off a passing puppy, exclaiming, “Oh my god, it’s so cute!”
This prompted a staff member to ask whether he prefers a “cat-like” or “dog-like” look for his ideal type.
Kim Jae-won replied, “I don’t really have a set type. I don’t have a strong image, and my features aren’t very sharp or three-dimensional. I think I like someone with a similar image to mine.”
He also added that “inner beauty is important.”
The video also gave fans a peek at the filming of the buzzed-about “bungeoppang kiss.”
Kim Jae-won showed his passionate side, actively suggesting ideas and coordinating movements with Kim Go-eun before the shoot.
In the 6th episode of tvN’s ‘Yumi’s Cells 3′ which aired on the 28th of last month, Shin Soon-rok (Kim Jae-won) gave Kim Yu-mi (Kim Go-eun) an indirect cheek kiss using a bungeoppang. This scene, which wasn’t in the original webtoon, completely captured the viewers’ hearts.
Born in 2001, Kim Jae-won is steadily building an impressive filmography. He especially made a strong impression on the public in February’s ‘Lady Dua’, where he brilliantly portrayed a character with a bold setting working at a host bar.
Currently, he is receiving lots of love for his role as Shin Soon-rok in ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’, showing an incredible level of synchronization with the original character.
