Actor Kim Jae-wook has captured the hearts of viewers with his signature sly charm and “flirting master” vibes.
In a video released on May 13 on the YouTube channel ‘Yoo In Radio’, Kim Jae-wook and Ko Young-bae from the band Soran appeared as guests to share various stories. The video, titled “A video where your heart becomes noisy because you’re thankful for Kim Jae-wook’s beauty,” became a hot topic immediately after its release.

During the episode, Kim Jae-wook revealed that he enjoys bike riding and has given his beloved bike the nickname “Chil-chil-i.” He even admitted to talking to his bike, asking, “Chil-chil-i, are you feeling sick?” revealing an unexpectedly clumsy side that left the cast bursting into laughter.

An impromptu roleplay with host Yoo In-na followed. During a restaurant date scenario, Kim Jae-wook naturally dropped a flirting line, asking, “Shall we eat the pasta you like, honey?” The sudden use of “honey” (jagi) left Yoo In-na flustered and laughing, as she remarked, “I didn’t expect a title attack. It’s been so long since I’ve heard the word ‘honey’.” Ko Young-bae expressed his admiration, saying, “He captures people starting from the title. He seems like a complete master.”

The broadcast also revealed a different side of Kim Jae-wook’s recent activities. He explained that he has been in the movie import business for about six years, although he hasn’t imported many works.
Recalling his first import, Kim Jae-wook honestly shared, “COVID-19 hit right when it was about to be released, so it was a big failure.” He added that after spending a long time recovering from that setback, he has recently been able to bring in another great work.

The work he recently imported is the remastered version of the 1966 French film ‘A Man and a Woman’. Regarding his motivation for starting the business, Kim Jae-wook said, “I’ve really loved movies since I was young.” He added, “As the film industry has recently been reorganized around large commercial movies, I felt that opportunities to encounter diverse works were decreasing. That’s why I wanted to personally introduce good movies to Korea.”
