Actress Kim Jung Nan revealed that she was classmates with Song Eun I.
On the 18th, a video titled “From actors Choi Min Sik, Chae Shi Ra, to Kim Jung Nan… Dongguk University’s Department of Theatre and Film, which raised Korea’s legendary actors! A special day with Jung Nan’s acting teacher” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Kim Jung Nan’.
During the episode, Kim Jung Nan visited a practice room in Ganghwa to watch her juniors act. Her visit was to meet director Kim Tae Yong.
Kim Jung Nan introduced him, saying, “He is the person who first taught me acting when I decided to become an actress. I have cherished this relationship for over 30 years.”

She recalled her high school days, saying, “I was very active in school. I was in the broadcasting club and even organized a vocal ensemble. I was quite a handful back then.” She added that her friends and homeroom teacher encouraged her to apply to the Department of Theatre and Film.
She admitted she didn’t realize how competitive it was to get into the Department of Theatre and Film. When she told her father about her dream, he suggested she attend an academy he had seen in a newspaper advertisement.
That place was the ‘Yeouido Joongang Actor Arts Academy’. Kim Jung Nan shared, “I was classmates with Song Eun I,” and later successfully entered Dongguk University. Kim Jung Nan and director Kim Tae Yong drew attention as they looked through old photos and reminisced about their school days with Park Shin Yang, Lee Sung Jae, Chae Shi Ra, Lee Kyung Sil, and director Jung Bum Shik of the movie ‘Gonjiam’.
