
Actress Kim Sa-rang, known to weigh 49kg, has surprised everyone by revealing her current diet, which includes splitting a single burrata cheese into two separate meals.
On May 17, a video titled “Beginner YouTuber Kim Sa-rang’s first vlog challenge” was uploaded to her YouTube channel, ‘Kim Sa-rang sa rang’.
During the video, Kim Sa-rang shared, “When I start filming, it feels like I’ve taken Wegovy. I can’t have any bloating, and since I grew up with the mindset that I’d be scolded if I ate, my body just rejects food whenever I’m filming.”
She then revealed her lunch: handmade burrata cheese. She explained, “If it’s this size, I cut it in half for one meal and eat the other half later as another meal.” The production team was left bewildered, asking, “Isn’t this just one meal?” which led to some laughs.
Currently on a diet, Kim Sa-rang described her routine: “I eat as soon as I wake up and then nothing. Later, before 6 PM, I have something simple like sweet potatoes, roasted eggs, or cheese, and then I don’t eat anymore.”

Regarding her decision to diet, she shared, “I had a leg accident in the past, so there was some weight I couldn’t lose. I started wondering, ‘Is eating very little and managing my weight all the time really the greatest joy in life?’ and when I started eating more, I gained 3kg.” She added, “I’m going on a trip soon, so I want to lose those 3kg now so I can fully enjoy the food while traveling.”
She also clarified, “People think I only eat eggs because I mentioned it, but that’s not the case. I only ate protein in the mornings when filming to prevent bloating.”
