According to JTBC’s variety show ‘Han Moon-chul’s Black Box Review’ (also known as ‘Hanbly’), comedian Kim Shin-young, who is currently enjoying her “second heyday,” will appear as a guest in the episode airing on the 6th.
During the recording, the show highlighted a shocking case of an indiscriminate assault by a heavily intoxicated passenger. The footage shows a passenger, barely able to state their destination, suddenly changing their mood and demanding the taxi stop in the middle of the road before striking the driver in the face. The passenger even swung their phone like a weapon and relentlessly chased the driver after they escaped the vehicle, leaving the panels horrified, with some exclaiming, “They’re getting out and following them!” and “This is a real horror movie!”
The production team interviewed the taxi driver to uncover the full story of that hellish struggle. The driver recalled the desperate moment, stating that the passenger suddenly woke up, demanded the car stop, and began the assault. “I was running for my life when I spotted a police station and rushed inside,” they shared. The driver suffered severe injuries, including a wrist fracture requiring eight weeks of recovery and surgery, while trying to block the blows to their face.
Meanwhile, the ‘Global Hanbly’ segment introduced an incident at a paid parking lot in Germany. A reporter who used a valet service near a German airport was shocked upon retrieving their vehicle. They discovered Bluetooth records linked to a stranger’s name, as well as evidence suggesting marijuana use inside the car. The footage even captured the culprits’ conversations as they stole items and attempted to drive the car. In response, Lawyer Han Moon-chul clearly outlined the scope of responsibility for paid parking lots and the necessary countermeasures for such absurd theft and intrusion incidents.
