Trot singer Kim Soo-chan revealed the struggle he faced with one of his stage outfits.
On the May 14 broadcast of SBS Power FM’s ‘Cultwo Show’, with Kwak Beom serving as the special DJ, Kim Soo-chan and Nam Bo-ra appeared as guests for the ‘Love Go-Stop’ segment.
During the show, Kwak Beom mentioned, “I heard Soo-chan wore a very flashy outfit at the 3-Person 3-Color Concert last weekend and felt like he was dying because it was so heavy.”
After the photo was revealed, the DJ and guests were shocked by the uniquely flashy outfit. Kim Soo-chan explained, “It was a newly made outfit, but it was incredibly heavy. The designer told me it’s all crystals, so the color won’t fade over time. My dance moves involve lifting my legs a lot, and as you can see, there are many crystals on the legs. They say you steam to death in summer and freeze to death in winter when you try to look too cool. I really felt like I was dying on stage because of the weight.”
He added, “I wore that outfit so people would look at me, but I saw a fan cam video where someone said it was too dazzling to watch. Too much of a good thing is bad,” sparking laughter among the crew.
