Kim Sung-eun Shares Her “Star Parent” Secret on Radio Star: “Physical Strength is Key to Studying!”

Kim Sung-eun Shares Her

Today’s episode of MBC’s Radio Star is all about the “Passionate Priests of Teacher’s Day,” featuring guests Seo Kyung-seok, Choi Tae-sung, Kim Sung-eun, and Hwang Min-ho.

Kim Sung-eun is set to reveal the education secrets she has mastered while raising three children. Sharing her philosophy, she emphasized, “Physical strength is crucial for studying later on. I recommend sending kids to arts or sports academies rather than focusing on studying when they are young.”

She noted that while parents used to teach things like jump rope, inline skating, and cycling themselves, there are now many academies that help out busy parents. Among them, she caught everyone’s attention by strongly recommending “rhythm jump rope,” where kids jump to the beat of music.

Kim Sung-eun explained that jump rope helps children grow taller and keeps them motivated as the rope colors change upon leveling up, similar to Taekwondo belts. “My second daughter loves it,” she shared, adding that since kids often lack environments where they can really work up a sweat, jump rope is perfect for getting them completely drenched in sweat.

After hearing her explanation, Seo Kyung-seok showed great interest, asking, “Can adults enroll too?” to which Kim Sung-eun jokingly replied, “Do you want to film YouTube content with me while we earn our rhythm jump rope levels?” causing a burst of laughter.

You can catch the “star parent” Kim Sung-eun’s education philosophy and her academy recommendations on Radio Star today (Wednesday, the 13th) at 10:30 PM.
