Actress Ko So-young revealed her “VVIP grocery shopping” routine, spending over 300,000 won on fruit alone at a department store food hall. In a YouTube video released on the 19th, Ko So-young visited a department store food hall to buy ingredients for her family.
Heading first to the fruit section, she was excited to see raspberries, exclaiming, “The fruit here is amazing. Raspberries are out!” After checking the price tag, she burst into laughter, saying, “It’s expensive.” However, she didn’t hesitate to add them to her cart, noting, “If it’s a product from a top producer, you have to buy it even if it’s expensive.”
When the production team asked why the fruit there tastes better, she shared a practical tip: “The turnover rate is high, so fresh stock comes in quickly. Housewives like me all know this.”
She then surprised everyone by naturally picking out figs that cost over 40,000 won for six. Ko So-young shared a funny habit, saying, “I always make sure to eat before grocery shopping because I buy more when I’m hungry. But right now, I am hungry,” which sparked laughter.
An even more surprising scene occurred at the apple section, her favorite.
Ko So-young started picking apples, stating, “I absolutely have to buy apples,” but the price was a whopping 50,000 won for four. The PD was shocked, exclaiming, “This is crazy,” but Ko So-young reacted calmly, saying, “All fruit is expensive.”
She also revealed her healthy habit, adding, “I always eat half an apple every morning.”
After filling her cart with fruit, she also picked up peanuts, which her husband Jang Dong-gun loves. She explained, “You have to eat high-quality peanuts, and you shouldn’t buy too many at once; you should eat them fresh.”

The total amount Ko So-young paid at the food hall was 379,370 won. The production team joked, “Congratulations on not hitting 400,000 won,” and Ko So-young laughed as she finished the payment.
