Las Vegas’ Iconic Sphere to Glow with BTS’ ‘ARIRANG’ Theme!

The iconic Sphere in Las Vegas is getting a makeover! The massive spherical venue will transform with an ‘Arirang’ theme to welcome BTS.

BigHit Music announced the offline event ‘The City Las Vegas’ via the fan platform Weverse on the 15th.

BigHit Music described this project as the start of ‘Global The City 2.0,’ which expands the existing ‘The City’ concept to major cities worldwide, making it the largest urban-linked campaign to date.

The nights in Las Vegas will be dyed in red, the signature color of BTS’ 5th full album ‘ARIRANG’.

The Sphere, the world’s largest spherical venue, will showcase spectacular visuals themed around ‘Arirang’.

BigHit Music stated, “The digital content covering the entire curved exterior will provide an overwhelming visual experience for tourists visiting Las Vegas.”

Additionally, the Las Vegas Strip will be filled with massive outdoor advertisements featuring welcome messages for BTS. The agency expects this to be a meaningful moment where the entertainment hub of the US is completely filled with BTS.

On the concert dates of May 23-24 and 27-28 (local time), major hotels and landmarks in Las Vegas will simultaneously light up in red. ‘The City Welcome Party’ will also be held at the Tailgate Beach Club on May 22 and 26.

Other experiences, including gourmet tours and collaborations with various food and beverage (F&B) brands like Tous Les Jours, are also planned.

BigHit Music added, “By utilizing Las Vegas’ entertainment infrastructure and cultural resources, we’ve expanded the festival to fill the time before and after the concert with BTS’ music and messages. Beyond just watching the show, the entire city will become a space for experiencing the BTS brand.”
