Lee Bum-soo's 'Analog' Struggles: From Kiosk Chaos to Peeking at Other Fans' Phones on 'My Little Old Boy'

Actor Lee Bum-soo revealed his funny yet sad struggle as he navigates the digital world while starting his journey of standing alone on ‘My Little Old Boy’.

In the May 3rd episode of SBS ‘My Little Old Boy’, the “analog human” Lee Bum-soo faced a series of crises where absolutely nothing seemed to go smoothly.

Lee Bum-soo attempted to book a train ticket but hit a wall when faced with a kiosk. Having previously been revealed as someone who couldn’t even log into OTT services or use banking apps, he looked completely lost, panicking as he said, “I need to go quickly, so let’s just do 12:11 for now. Is this right?”

His “old school” tendencies continued even after boarding the train. When he asked the crew about a snack cart, he was told, “Isn’t that a bit too old school? We have vending machines now.” He further amused viewers by asking, “Don’t you check tickets?” showing how unfamiliar he is with modern train culture.

The struggle continued at the baseball stadium. Because he insisted on buying tickets on-site rather than online, he ended up in the far outfield. Unable to see the game clearly, he complained, “Why is it like this? I can’t see,” and eventually had to stand up to watch.

Curiosity struck when he noticed the spectator next to him watching the live broadcast on their phone. After shyly admitting, “I don’t really know how to use this,” when told a login was required, he ended up openly peeking at the other person’s phone, creating a scene that was both heartwarming and pitiful.
