Singer Lee Chan-won has expressed his anger regarding the death of the late Shin Hae-chul.

The upcoming episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Celeb Soldier’s Secret’, airing on May 5 at 8:30 PM, will provide an in-depth look at the life and death of the late Shin Hae-chul.

In October 2014, the late singer visited a hospital due to sudden abdominal pain. After being diagnosed with bowel obstruction, he underwent surgery for intestinal stenosis.

It has been reported that the surgeon arbitrarily performed a ‘gastric reduction surgery’ by folding and suturing the stomach without the patient’s consent, later telling him, “I sewed up the stomach a bit, so you won’t be able to eat much now.”

The program also highlights a shocking detail from the autopsy: ‘sesame seeds’ were discovered inside the pericardium, the sac surrounding the heart.

Upon hearing this in the studio, panels Hyojung and Jang Do-yeon couldn’t hide their shock, asking, “Eating sesame seeds?” and “Why would sesame seeds be found there?”

Specialist Lee Nak-jun explained that “under normal circumstances, sesame seeds cannot be found in the pericardium.”

After reviewing the details of the situation, Lee Chan-won expressed his outrage, questioning, “Did they see the patient as a test subject?”
