On the 14th, the TikTok variety show ‘Tiki Taka Show’ introduced its MC lineup: Korean football legend Ahn Jung-hwan, well-known football fan DinDin, and the current variety star Lee Eun-ji, who all shared their excitement about joining the show.
‘Tiki Taka Show’ is a talk variety program that uses football as a bridge to dive into various topics through a battle-style format.
Ahn Jung-hwan shared his reason for joining, saying, “The idea of unfolding diverse stories every episode through ‘football’ felt fresh, and since it is TikTok’s first-ever talk show, it felt very meaningful. I was happy to decide to join.”
He also encouraged viewers, saying, “‘Tiki Taka Show’ is a program that both football lovers and those who know nothing about the sport can laugh and relate to. I’ll work hard to create a show that anyone can enjoy with witty banter, unpredictable chemistry, and non-stop entertainment.”
DinDin expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m a huge football fan, so I had high expectations from the moment I was offered the role.” He added, “What’s most interesting is that guests from all sorts of fields will join, from football players and experts to creators, shamans, and musicians. With people of such different perspectives and personalities gathering in one place, I’m expecting a lot of unexpected laughs.”
DinDin further promised, “We’re going to show you the cast’s bold banter, the MCs’ perfect tiki-taka, and some surprising twists, so please look forward to it.” Lee Eun-ji explained, “The ‘battle talk’ format, where people freely exchange opinions on a single topic, was really intriguing. The charm is that it’s not just about football, but uses it as a medium to pleasantly discuss various stories that anyone can relate to.”
Known as the reliable ‘variety cheat key,’ Lee Eun-ji added a passionate goal: “I’ll do my best as the mood maker so that football fans and variety show lovers alike can enjoy the content comfortably.”
Meanwhile, ‘Tiki Taka Show’ will premiere on the 25th at 8 PM and will air every Monday and Thursday at 8 PM.
