Broadcaster Lee Geum-hee has opened up about the reason she decided to step down from ‘Human Theater’.
Lee Geum-hee appeared on TV Chosun’s ‘Huh Young-man’s Food Travel’ in the episode aired on the 17th.
When asked if she had provided narration for KBS 1TV’s ‘Human Theater’ for a long time, she replied, “I did it for about nine and a half years.”
When asked if she received love calls from other programs, she explained, “I am the type of person who believes that if you take on another project while doing one program for a long time, you won’t be able to sustain it. Actually, the reason I quit ‘Human Theater’ was that because the ratings were so high, the scheduling time changed frequently. Eventually, it moved to the time slot right before ‘AM Plaza’, which I was already doing. So the time slots for the two programs were right next to each other.”
Lee Geum-hee added, “No matter how much I thought about it, I felt that wouldn’t be polite, so I told the company first that I would leave ‘Human Theater’. I thought they would try to hold onto me, but they just asked, ‘Who would be a good successor?'” which brought laughter to the set.
