The host lineup for the second half of ‘SNL Korea’ Season 8 has finally been revealed!

Coupang Play’s ‘SNL Korea’ is Korea’s number one comedy show, dominating the trend charts every episode with bold and unconventional humor from top stars and the trusted crew. For the second half of Season 8, Lee Jung-eun, Jung Soo-jung, and Um Ji-won have been confirmed as hosts, and they are all ready to completely let go of their “actress” images.

First up, the 8th episode airing on the 16th will be led by national representative actress Lee Jung-eun. Known as the “original stage genius” for captivating audiences in plays and musicals, this will be Lee Jung-eun’s first-ever challenge in a live comedy show since her debut.

Lee Jung-eun shared her excitement, saying, “I’m thrilled because it’s been a while since I’ve been on a live stage, and I’m grateful for the precious opportunity to be on ‘SNL Korea’.” She added, “I want to portray my other side in a sincere and pleasant way. I’ll prepare diligently so that everyone can enjoy the show together.”

Following Lee Jung-eun, actress and singer Jung Soo-jung (Krystal) will take the baton. Having shown a limitless acting spectrum, this stage will also mark Jung Soo-jung’s first-ever foray into public comedy.

Jung Soo-jung teased some unexpected comedy, stating, “I’m nervous about performing comedy live as an ‘SNL Korea’ host, but I plan to show you some funny sides, so please look forward to it!”

The 10th episode will be hosted by actress Um Ji-won, the “epitome of elegance.” Loved for her graceful and sophisticated image for over 20 years, she is prepared to boldly cast aside that image for the sake of the laughs.

Um Ji-won expressed her ambition, saying, “I’ve always loved the comedy genre in movies and dramas, and I’m a huge fan of ‘SNL Korea’.” She added, “I want to give the audience a good laugh with a performance that makes me earn a new nickname through ‘SNL Korea’,” promising a twist that exceeds all expectations.

Meanwhile, ‘SNL Korea’ Season 8 has already featured a star-studded lineup including Tak Jae-hoon, Go Ah-sung, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Mi-sook, Shin Sung-rok, and Choo Sung-hoon. Episode 7, featuring Han Ga-in, will be released on May 9 at 8 PM on Coupang Play.
