Actor Lee Sang-ah surprised everyone on ‘Dongchimi’ by revealing a truly baffling casting offer she received.
In the MBN show ‘Dongchimi’ aired on the 2nd, Lee Sang-ah appeared to discuss the theme “The End of Making Money.” Having debuted as an actress in her second year of middle school, she has spent decades in the entertainment industry, experiencing many ups and downs alongside her stunning visuals.
Lee Hyun-yi asked her about a “baffling casting call,” to which Lee Sang-ah cautiously explained, “Since some of the writers are young and might not know my full history, I might receive awkward calls from programs I feel hostile toward.”
Kim Yong-man then asked, “Wait, was it a program where your ex-husband is active?” and Lee Sang-ah confirmed it was. While Kim Jung-tae and Yoon Young-mi encouraged her to just be cool and go on the show, Lee Sang-ah expressed her disbelief, saying, “I found it so absurd that they would call me after talking to him.” Kim Yong-man also seemed flustered, suggesting it might be because the production staff has gotten younger.
Yoon Young-mi jokingly added, “I’ll go and have a word with them,” indirectly referencing the program featuring Lee Sang-ah’s ex-husband.
