Actor Lee Sinyoung has solidified his presence as a next-generation Hallyu star, creating warm spring memories alongside his Japanese fans.
On the 6th, Lee Sinyoung held his solo fan meeting, “Spring, With You” LEE SINYOUNG JAPAN FANMEETING 2026, at Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo. With the romantic concept of “delivering spring to Japanese fans,” the event consisted of two sessions filled with singing, chatting, and behind-the-scenes stories from his works.
Lee Sinyoung kicked off the event by singing John Park’s “In the Rain,” immediately capturing hearts with his sweet vocals. During the talk segment, he shared exciting updates, including sweeping rookie awards across the three major broadcasting stations—including the 2025 MBC Drama Awards Rookie Award—and the re-screening of his film “Rebound.” He also sparked a huge reaction from local fans by revealing behind-the-scenes stories from the Discovery Channel Japan documentary “Lee Sinyoung Goes! Oishii Nippon.”
He touched fans’ hearts with a performance of Beomjin’s “Greeting.” In a special roleplay corner titled “Heroine is a Fan?!”, he acted alongside fans who played his co-stars, showcasing his acting skills by recreating key roles from his filmography, such as a soldier heading to war and a student before a basketball final.
Local Japanese media are also keeping a close eye on him. Major outlets like ORICON and wowKorea highlighted his steady growth, from his role as Park Kwang-bum in “Crash Landing on You” to his appearances in “Contract Friendship,” “Dr. Romantic 3,” and the historical drama “The Moon Flows in This River.”
Lee Sinyoung’s busy schedule continues across both the big and small screens. After proving his potential as a lead actor in “Rebound” and “Full Sprint,” he is set to undergo a drastic transformation in Director Park Hoon-jung’s upcoming film “Sad Tropics,” where he will play “Lou,” a member of a killer organization.
