Lee Yun-seok showed total confidence in identifying Ha Hyun-woo’s voice on ‘Hidden Singer 8’.
In the JTBC variety show ‘Hidden Singer 8’ aired on the 12th, Ha Hyun-woo from Guckkasten took the stage as the original singer to face off against talented sound-alikes.
With Ha Hyun-woo as the star, Lee Yun-seok joined the hidden judging panel, having watched Ha Hyun-woo’s performances up close on ‘King of Mask Singer’. Ha Hyun-woo previously made headlines on ‘King of Mask Singer’ as ‘Our Neighborhood Music Captain’, achieving a legendary 9-win streak before revealing his identity after 20 weeks.
Lee Yun-seok joked, “‘King of Mask Singer’ is like asking ‘Who are you?’, while ‘Hidden Singer’ is like ‘Which one of you is the one?’. If ‘King of Mask Singer’ is a short-answer question, ‘Hidden Singer’ is multiple choice, and I can definitely nail a multiple-choice test!” He further boasted that after watching Ha Hyun-woo’s performances for 20 weeks, “I know even his breathing. I’ve heard him more than the Guckkasten members have!”
JTBC’s ‘Hidden Singer 8’ is an innovative music program featuring singing battles between Korea’s top artists and “sound-alikes” who can perfectly mimic their voice and style. It airs every Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
