Actress Jun Ji-hyun has shared the ultimate secret to leaving work like a true professional.
On the May 16 episode of the web variety show ‘Pinggyego’ on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun’, Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook appeared as guests to promote their upcoming movie ‘Gunche’, showcasing their witty chemistry.
During the broadcast, Jun Ji-hyun’s strict adherence to her work hours became a hot topic. Koo Kyo-hwan noted, “Sunbaenim not only arrives at the set early, but she also leaves incredibly fast.”
Koo Kyo-hwan shared his surprise, saying, “I’m also the type to leave quickly once my scenes are done. I’ll be taking off my clothes and loosening my tie while saying ‘Great job everyone,’ but Sunbaenim is already stepping down from the costume vehicle.”

He continued by imitating her, “I wondered, ‘How did she do it? Does she warp?’ She just goes, ‘Actor Koo, I’m leaving!'” which left the set in bursts of laughter.
Jun Ji-hyun then revealed her firm philosophy on separating work and private life. “When I’m on set, I do my absolute best. I’m devoted, as if we’ll be together forever. I’m like, ‘I’ll give you everything forever!’ But when it’s time to go home, I leave like someone I’ll never see again, thinking, ‘I’m going to live my own life,'” she said, sparking more laughter.
Ji Chang-wook also added a heartwarming detail, saying, “Jun Ji-hyun often brought snacks to the set to share with everyone,” and “At company dinners, she’d get excited, shout, and really lift the mood,” proving she’s just like any other relatable employee.
