LUCY Absolutely Smashed Their First KSPO Dome Show! A Legendary 'ISLAND' Is Born

Band LUCY just delivered a legendary performance, pouring their hearts and souls into their very first show at the KSPO DOME!

LUCY (Shin Yechan, Choi Sangyeop, Jo Wonsang, and Shin Kwangil) held the final day and second show of their solo concert, ‘2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT ISLAND’ (hereafter ‘ISLAND’), on the 17th at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

This marks LUCY’s first time performing at the KSPO DOME, highlighting their incredible growth. Starting from the Blue Square Mastercard Hall, they expanded to the Jangchung Gymnasium and Ticketlink Live Arena. With this latest show, LUCY has now sold out eight consecutive concerts, proving their massive ticket power. This was also a special full-group reunion, as member Shin Kwangil was discharged from the military this past March.

‘ISLAND’ is a solo concert that weaves a narrative connected to ‘LUCY ISLAND,’ the project that marked their beginning. It carries the message, “Scattered petals blow back to the island, coloring us with light.”

LUCY showcased their wide musical spectrum and dazzling band performance, delivering an epic scale that left fans emotional. They performed the title track ‘All Ages’ from their recently released second full-length album ‘Childish,’ along with representative hits like ‘Sprout,’ ‘Chameleon,’ ‘Flowering,’ ‘No, but really,’ and ‘The Knight Who Cannot Die and the Silk Cradle.’

Choi Sangyeop wowed the crowd with his piercing high notes, while Jo Wonsang showed off his signature move of spinning while playing the bass. Shin Yechan and Shin Kwangil also captivated the audience with their passionate instrumentals.

Fans responded with thunderous cheers. Choi Sangyeop noted, “Following yesterday, today is the final show, and it definitely feels different. I love the excited atmosphere of a final concert. I couldn’t contain my excitement from the first song, and it made me think, ‘This is what we’ve been running toward.’ We’ll show you what a finale really looks like!”

He added with passion, “Since it’s the final show, we aren’t bound by time, right? Even if we go home late, we’ll probably wake up at the same time anyway. The night is long. Yesterday was three and a half hours, so can we go for four hours today?”

The setlist also included solo stages. Shin Kwangil stepped away from the drums to roam the stage and show off his vocals with ‘Gugu-jeoljeol.’ Shin Yechan created a sweet atmosphere singing ‘Little Star’ instead of playing the guitar. Jo Wonsang took the stage in a suit to sing ‘Porch Light’ at a standing mic, and Choi Sangyeop brought high energy in sporty attire while singing ‘Little Star.’

The production enhanced the immersion. Lyrics were displayed on screens for easy sing-alongs, and a massive screen behind the main stage used a four-way split to show each member’s face in detail.

The fan-friendly stage design also boosted the energy. A unique extended stage opened like Tetris blocks and lifted up, and the drums, which are usually fixed, moved toward the extended stage on a drum cart.

The members added fun through frequent communication. For example, after performing ‘When the Dawn Breaks,’ Jo Wonsang mentioned, “‘When the Dawn Breaks’ is an OST, so it only has one verse, but here you can hear the second verse, which is only available at this concert.” Shin Yechan revealed, “Actually, there’s a behind-the-scenes story. I thought it would be better as our own song, so I told them not to make it an OST.” Jo Wonsang joked, “This song has to be an OST. It’s too difficult. If we had to promote with this constantly, it would have been so hard,” to which Shin Yechan replied, “I’m not the one struggling, so it’s fine.”

Choi Sangyeop then suggested, “How about a five-minute violin solo next time?” Shin Yechan replied that it would be “boring,” but when fans shouted that it wouldn’t be, he joked, “I’ll ask other people too.” The other members teased him, asking him to apologize to the fans with some aegyo.

Ultimately, Shin Yechan did a cute “Ang” aegyo, saying, “Mom, Dad, please close your eyes.” This sparked an aegyo parade. Choi Sangyeop followed, saying, “Mom, Dad, cousins, close your eyes. I’m not the type to back down from this,” before showing his charms. Jo Wonsang declared, “Everyone close your eyes except Mom and Dad,” and delivered professional-level aegyo, saying, “Mom, I love you. Dad, I love you. I love you!”

Choi Sangyeop commented, “That’s just how he lives. We should learn from him. Now that Kwangil is thirty, we’ve all turned thirty. We shouldn’t be like this, but sometimes our aegyo gets blocked. Whenever that happens, I learn from Wonsang. That’s what a beginner’s mind looks like. It’s been six years since our debut, but he’s barely changed.” Shin Yechan added, “I was almost thirty when I debuted, so I guess I have a beginner’s mind too,” sparking laughter.

Shin Kwangil also joined in. When fans chanted his name, he joked, “Ah, you wanted to see aegyo. You could have just told me. Oh, wait, you did tell me.” He then asked his “company commander and captain” to close their eyes before performing his aegyo.

At the end of the show, the members thanked the fans, saying, “We want to give you a round of applause. This was legendary.” Jo Wonsang added, “Thank you for filling the venue right up until the final show.”

Choi Sangyeop concluded, “As you could tell from this concert, we really poured everything into it. We made sure there was no boring moment, so there was plenty of visual and auditory joy to enjoy. Thank you all so much for having fun, including those in the standing section.”
