On the 18th, MC Mong shared on his personal SNS, “Tonight at 8 PM, I will hold a TikTok broadcast with reporters to talk about past events and everything related to me. I also plan to reveal who MBC’s ‘PD Notebook’ is colluding with for their reporting.”
MC Mong continued, “I intend to expose construction businessman Chairman Cha, his associates, and the celebrities involved with them. See you at 8 PM on my TikTok LIVE account. #Exposure”
Previously, MC Mong has been embroiled in various controversies, including allegations of prostitution, proxy prescriptions for Zolpidem, and rumors of an affair with Chairman Cha Ga-won. Last year, following a suicide attempt, he once again mentioned the military service scandal, expressing his deep frustration and stating that he simply wants to focus on music.
Regarding this, according to legal sources in March, the 21st Civil Division of the Seoul Western District Court partially granted a provisional injunction filed by CEO Cha Ga-won against Media Outlet A to prohibit the publication of certain articles and videos. This decision came after a confirmation letter was submitted, in which MC Mong admitted to fabricating the messenger conversations that served as the primary evidence for the reports.
Last year, Media Outlet A reported on an alleged affair between MC Mong and Cha Ga-won. The outlet used phrases that concluded or implied the two were in a romantic relationship and included captured images of messenger conversations they claimed were exchanged between the two.
The court noted, “A confirmation letter was submitted in which MC Mong himself admitted the messenger conversations were fabricated,” adding that “MC Mong, the party involved in the conversations, submitted a confirmation letter denying the contents of his previous statements, stating they differed from the actual facts.”
