Melon Joins as Official Sponsor for the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026!

Melon is bringing the vibes early! As an official sponsor of the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026, Melon is providing customized content so fans can dive deeper into the festival experience.

Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon announced on the 7th that it will be an official sponsor for the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026, launching a series of integrated online and offline events.

Through this sponsorship, Melon plans to expand its connection with music lovers via special features in Melon Magazine and exciting SNS events.

Since its debut in 2007, the Seoul Jazz Festival has grown into one of Korea’s premier music festivals, celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2026. By bridging the gap between jazz and the general public through various genres and high-quality performances, it has built a loyal fandom, attracting around 60,000 attendees each time.

Melon Magazine has already released a special feature titled “Seoul Jazz Festival Lineup TOP 10,” highlighting 10 key artists who will light up the stage. The content provides detailed insights into the musical worlds and key points to watch for artists across jazz, pop, soul, hip-hop, and rock. Plus, fans can check out the official Seoul Jazz Festival mood playlist to get into the spirit.

In tandem with the magazine content, Melon is hosting an “SNS Favorite Certification” event. After reading the “Seoul Jazz Festival 2026: More Fun if You Know This” content in Melon Magazine, fans can take a screenshot of the artist they are most excited about, tag a friend they want to go with on Instagram, and enter for a chance to win festival tickets.

The 2026 Seoul Jazz Festival lineup is already making fans’ hearts flutter with top-tier domestic and international artists. On the first day, May 22, the stage will feature Janelle MonĂ¡e with her fusion of soul, funk, and hip-hop, legendary 10-time Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, SEVENTEEN’s “MeBoZ” (DK x Seungkwan), and singer-songwriter Jang Beom June, known for his honest lyrics and clean vocals.

May 23 will see performances by 7-time Grammy winner Jon Batiste, who transcends genres like jazz and pop, the veteran hip-hop group Epik High (celebrating 23 years), singer-songwriter Baek Yerin with her solid musicality, and NCT members Taeyong and Haechan, who will each bring their own unique colors to the stage.

The final day on May 24 will be graced by jazz legend Herbie Hancock, boasting a 65-year career and 14 Grammy awards, Medeski Martin & Wood, who blend traditional jazz with experimental sounds, Hyukoh, known for their delicate emotional depth, and Silica Gel, bringing psychedelic textures and explosive energy.

A Melon official stated, “The Seoul Jazz Festival is Korea’s top music festival where you can experience high-quality performances from the best artists locally and internationally. Through this sponsorship, Melon will actively help music fans experience the excitement of the festival online in advance, making their on-site experience even more enriching.”
