Model Yeo Yeon-hee has denied dating rumors involving Chef Son Jong-won.
In a video uploaded to YouTube on the 13th, Yeo Yeon-hee clarified, “He is an older brother I actually know, but we are not dating.”
The rumors first sparked when both Yeo Yeon-hee and Son Jong-won posted photos of dogs that looked similar on social media. Yeo Yeon-hee explained, “I think some dating rumors surfaced. It just so happened that the dog photo he posted looked like my dog, Raun. They are not the same dog.”
While she mentioned that the rumors themselves didn’t bother her, saying, “Isn’t he popular?” she expressed her displeasure regarding certain YouTube Shorts comments. She recalled comments such as, “Does this model only date and not work?” and “I thought Son Jong-won would date a smart woman, but he’s dating someone empty-headed.” She fired back, “I am smart. I’m still working because I’m smart.”
Born in 1992, Yeo Yeon-hee is 12 years younger than Son Jong-won, who was born in 1984. She first gained recognition after placing third in Season 3 of the survival program ‘Korea’s Next Top Model’ in 2012. She has also been active as an actress, appearing in the 2021 film ‘The Silence Between’.
