Actor and creator Moon Sang-hoon made sure to celebrate DAY6 Wonpil’s birthday, but he skipped his employee’s birthday with a bit of an excuse.
In the May 16 episode of MBC’s variety show ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ (episode 398), we got a glimpse into a day in the life of BDNS Moon Sang-hoon.
During the episode, Moon Sang-hoon suddenly asked PD Kim Jin-hyuk, “Today is Wonpil’s birthday. Should I give him some birthday money?” When PD Kim suggested a gifticon, Moon clarified, “No, cash. I always give 200,000 won in cash for birthday presents.”
However, PD Kim Jin-hyuk flustered him by mentioning, “Hyun-min’s birthday is this Thursday,” referring to one of his employees. Moon Sang-hoon quickly came up with an excuse, saying, “I only give presents to people I’m slightly awkward with. If we’re very close, I don’t give any.”
In the end, Moon Sang-hoon followed through and sent 200,000 won in cash to Wonpil to celebrate his special day.
