Singer and actress Nam Gyu-ri is making a long-held dream come true by taking the stage for her first-ever busking performance in the romantic city of Busan.
Nam Gyu-ri is set to connect with local fans through a warm musical exchange today (22nd) at 6:30 PM at the Haeundae Event Square in Busan.
This performance is particularly special as it marks Nam Gyu-ri’s first street stage since her debut. Sharing her excitement on social media, she wrote, “Since my trainee days at 19, I always dreamed of busking. I’m so thrilled to finally start checking this off my life’s bucket list!”
Adding to the excitement, the powerhouse vocal trio SoonSoonHee (Kitae, Mirrorball, and Yoon Ji-hwan) will join her for a special collaboration. Since their 2018 debut, SoonSoonHee has released numerous hits such as “At Seomyeon Station,” “Haeundae,” “Gwangan Bridge,” and “You’re Stuck in Me.” Their soulful vocals combined with Nam Gyu-ri’s signature clear and delicate voice are expected to fill the Haeundae night sea with emotional harmony.
This comes as Nam Gyu-ri celebrates the success of SeeYa’s return as a full group for the first time in 15 years, with the title track “Stay” from their 4th studio album climbing to the top of major domestic music charts.
