MBN’s ‘Dongchimi’ is keeping the heat alive with its ‘700th Episode Special – Part 2’. Singer Son Tae Jin makes a surprise appearance to share his worries, honestly admitting, “There are so many things I want to do, but there’s too much pressure to get married.”
Part 2 focuses on the theme “The Oppas Loved Passionately!” featuring music legends Nam Jin, Cho Young Nam, and Seol Woon Do for a talk about marriage. They share honest love stories and “now-revealable” behind-the-scenes gossip from back in the day. In the teaser video, Son Tae Jin makes a surprise visit to liven up the mood. Appearing as a surprise guest at the “Heart-to-Heart Counseling Center,” he opens up about his marriage concerns, raising expectations for the three distinct, powerful solutions offered by the senior legends.
Seol Woon Do advises that “Love doesn’t wait,” while Nam Jin emphasizes that one “must be cautious.” Meanwhile, Cho Young Nam suggests that “both work and love should be pursued freely,” offering a different perspective. Additionally, Nam Jin shares a behind-the-scenes story about a secret kiss he had during filming back when he was full of passion, promising more fun with the legends’ witty banter.
MBN’s ‘Dongchimi’ celebrated its 700th episode last week. Since its premiere in November 2012, it has maintained its title as Korea’s longest-running family talk show. Panels from all walks of life have connected with viewers through honest stories and heart-to-heart talks. Part 2 of the 700th episode special will air on the 16th at 11 PM.
Singer Nam Jin remarried Kang Jung Yeon, a Korean-American, in 1980 and has been married for over 40 years with one son and three daughters. He was previously married to singer Yoon Bok Hee in 1976, but they divorced in 1979 after three years.
