Group NAZE made a strong impression with a hilarious initiation ceremony in a variety content piece featuring their agency senior, Lee Seok Hoon. Combining rookie freshness with great variety sense, they definitely caught the fans’ attention.

Lee Seok Hoon gave senior advice, telling the members to “always act politely,” and NAZE gave very respectful greetings as soon as they met Yoo Se Yoon and Muzie. However, UV kept finding faults in everything, insisting they needed to be “even more polite,” which sparked plenty of laughs.
For Thai member Turn, a sudden “etiquette lesson” began, with UV mentioning that “Korea has had a bowing culture for a long time.” UV pushed Lee Seok Hoon, saying that as a senior from the same agency, he should teach this personally. Lee Seok Hoon fully leaned into the roleplay, demonstrating how to bow, and the NAZE members followed suit with deep bows, turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
UV’s obsession with manners continued during the self-introductions. Yoo Se Yoon and Muzie nitpicked everything, even the way the members spoke, and eventually took issue with Yoon Gi’s coughing, leading to a situation where Lee Seok Hoon had to take the “cane” instead.
To smooth things over, NAZE performed a live version and choreography of their debut title track, “People Talk.” However, the lyric “just throw it on” became another target. Yoo Se Yoon claimed that “doing things halfway is not polite,” once again pressuring Lee Seok Hoon. Even the finger-pointing move in the choreography was questioned with “Why do you keep pointing fingers?” leading to more laughter. In the end, the members quickly modified the move to show a “polite version” of the choreography.
The roleplay escalated as UV blamed Lee Seok Hoon for every small mistake NAZE made, and even went as far as taking the members’ clothes to wear themselves. Eventually, Lee Seok Hoon got serious, asking, “What are you doing in front of the kids?” causing a flustered UV to sneak away, ending the segment on a high note.
Through this content, NAZE is receiving reactions for showing not only the typical nervousness and freshness of rookies but also an unexpected ability to adapt to variety shows. Many also noted that Lee Seok Hoon naturally centered the group as a senior, bringing out the members’ charms.
NAZE is a rookie group consisting of Kaisei, Yoon Gi, Ato, Turn, Yuya, Kim Gun, and Do Hyuk. Following their appearance on M2’s music talk show “Would You Record,” they are continuing various content activities to build their presence early in their debut.
