Designer Ko Tae-yong will make his debut as a new boss on the KBS 2TV show Boss in the Mirror (directed by Choi Seung-hee) airing on the 24th.

Ko Tae-yong is a genius designer who debuted at Seoul Fashion Week as the youngest ever at age 26 and has conquered the world’s top three fashion shows in New York, Paris, and Milan. He is especially famous for creating the widely loved Gatti.

Known for his legendary status in the fashion world, Ko Tae-yong catches attention by expressing outrage over the “lax” state of the industry, exclaiming, “The world is really turning [weirdly].” During the first design meeting for the autumn season, his “nagging button” is triggered. His blunt feedback to the staff’s design briefings leaves the meeting room freezing cold. Shocked by the sharp words, Jun Hyun-moo remarks, “This is like the real-life version of The Devil Wears Prada.”

Furious over the quality of the staff’s first drafts, Ko Tae-yong laments that the atmosphere is completely different from when he first entered the field, shouting, “The fashion industry is rotten. It has collapsed.” He opens a “new world of venomous words,” showing no mercy toward the industry whenever the staff makes a mistake.

Furthermore, Ko Tae-yong praises the act of nagging, stating, “Honestly, there should be more nagging. It changes the final result.” Special MC NCT leader Taeyong expresses deep empathy for this philosophy, adding, “Nagging only happens when there is affection.” The episode airs on the 24th at 4:40 PM.
