NCT’s Taeyong is cranking up the heat for his comeback, appearing on music shows and the Seoul Jazz Festival! Returning with his first full-length album ‘WYLD’, Taeyong is set to meet global fans with intense performances and an even deeper musical color.
Taeyong will showcase the stage for his title track ‘WYLD’ starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 21st, followed by KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 22nd, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 23rd, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 24th. He is expected to capture viewers’ attention with overwhelming energy right from the first week of his comeback.
The new song ‘WYLD’ is a hip-hop track inspired by the instinctive movements of wild animals. The performance depicts the process of suppressed instincts awakening to find freedom. A key highlight is the choreography, which unfolds like a story through the contrast between wild, bursting energy and restrained expression.
Additionally, Taeyong will perform on the 23rd at ‘The 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026’, held from May 22 to 24 around Seoul Olympic Park. He is expected to receive a great response as he reveals B-side tracks from his first full album ‘WYLD’ for the first time, along with various solo songs to enjoy with the audience.
Released on May 18, Taeyong’s first full album ‘WYLD’ is gaining global popularity, ranking #1 on domestic album and digital charts and sweeping the top 10 spots on Japan’s AWA real-time rising chart. It also hit #1 on the iTunes Top Album chart in 10 regions (ranking in the TOP 10 across 18 regions) and #1 on the iTunes Top Song chart in 9 regions worldwide.
Meanwhile, Taeyong’s first full album ‘WYLD’ consists of 10 songs produced by Taeyong, including the title track of the same name, offering plenty of opportunities to experience his deepened musical style.
