Gucci unveiled a stunning custom look for NINGNING at the 2026 MET Gala, hosted by Vogue at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 5.
As a Gucci ambassador, NINGNING wore a custom dress that stood out with its rich details and sculptural volume.
The dress was inspired by a deep and multi-layered sense of femininity. The design reinterprets the organic shape of petals into modern couture, utilizing pleated silk organza ruffles accented with rhinestone embroidery.
Three-dimensional fan-shaped ruffles and black hot-fix crystal embroidery gave the dress a flowing movement, creating a dreamy yet transparent “armor”-like vibe.
