Comedian Han Yoon-seo and her partner recently went shopping for home appliances and furniture ahead of moving in together, but the trip turned into a tense battle of wills as they disagreed on almost every item.
Showing her realistic side, Han Yoon-seo explained her decision to move in together, saying, “These days, many people try living together first. I also heard that combining households helps you save money faster. I think that’s the biggest difference between dating and marriage.”
The conflict continued even on the way to the store. While they agreed on essentials like a washing machine and dishwasher, they clashed over “extra” appliances. Han Yoon-seo wanted to replace her current refrigerator, which makes loud noises in the early morning. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, who works in the content industry, prioritized a new TV. In an interview with the production team, he showed strong determination, stating, “I’ll probably lose in the end, but I absolutely don’t want to lose when it comes to the TV.”
Even their standards for choosing a sofa were polar opposites. When they found a sofa priced near 4 million won, Han Yoon-seo felt it was reasonable, noting, “I budgeted up to 5 million won since I plan to use it for over 10 years.” On the other hand, her boyfriend revealed a completely different spending philosophy, saying, “I was thinking around 1.5 million won for a sofa. It would be better to buy expensive furniture later.” With their values clashing even before the official wedding preparations, fans are curious to see if the couple will successfully make it to the altar.
