No Problem After Heeseung's Departure! ENHYPEN Kicks Off New World Tour with Intense Preparation

ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) are performing their world tour, ‘ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA” (hereafter ‘BLOOD SAGA’), at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 2nd. This is the second show following the first on the 1st, and performances will continue until the 3rd. The Seoul shows are completely sold out, with a total of 32,250 fans filling the venue.

This tour has drawn significant attention as it is the first since the departure of former member Heeseung. Previously, ENHYPEN announced Heeseung’s departure in March and reorganized as a six-member group.

At the time, Belift Lab, a subsidiary of HYBE, officialized the departure, stating, “We had deep conversations about the future each member envisions and the direction of the team. In that process, we confirmed that Heeseung’s musical goals are clear, and we decided to respect them.”

However, the sudden news of Heeseung’s departure, announced about a year before the contract renewal period, caused confusion among fans. In particular, fans raised questions because the departure was in a somewhat unusual manner, rather than a hiatus or contract termination. Some international fandoms even carried out protest movements against the National Pension Service, a major shareholder of HYBE, and truck protests followed.

Despite the strong backlash, ENHYPEN remained steadfast. Jay shared, “Starting from Seoul, we plan to hold 32 performances in 21 cities,” adding, “It’s our first time in Mexico City, and since many people are looking forward to it, we’ve prepared hard to repay that support.”

Jake expressed his feelings, saying, “Since this is our first tour as six members, we prepared with grit.” He added, “I believe this is a tour that contains our souls. Since we’ve worked so hard, I hope you enjoy it.”

This tour is based on a ‘vampire’ concept. As the name suggests, ‘BLOOD SAGA’ contains the eternal ‘blood narrative’ between ENHYPEN and their fandom, ENGENE.

Sunoo showed confidence, saying, “We prepared a new concept. It literally captures the instinct and ambition of a vampire, encompassing our previous performances. You’ll be able to feel the immersion. We worked hard on this.”

Starting with the Seoul performance, ENHYPEN is setting sail on their world tour. They will continue with 32 performances in cities including Sao Paulo, Mexico City, San Diego, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and London until March 2027.
