[Official] “Warning: The GV Might Never End”… Min Hee-jin to Meet Fans in Person!

[Official]

Min Hee-jin, CEO of OK Records, is stepping up as a curator! She will be meeting audiences face-to-face.

Recently, Movieland, a cinema located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, announced that from May 7 to June 6, it will screen five films personally selected by CEO Min Hee-jin across five sessions, followed by GV (Guest Visit/Guest Dialogue) sessions. News of Min Hee-jin’s participation caused tickets to sell out instantly, proving her massive popularity.

The event is titled “Flowers Kept” and features masterpieces that showcase Min Hee-jin’s unique aesthetic eye. The lineup starts with “Man and Woman” on May 7, followed by “Splash” on the 15th, “The Class” on the 23rd, “The 400 Blows” on the 29th, and “The Swimming Pool” on June 6.

In a teaser video released via Movieland’s SNS, Min Hee-jin spoke candidly about why she joined the event. Stating that she “really loves movies,” she said, “When I first heard the plan, I thought it sounded fun.” She added, “I wanted to do it without hesitation because I could watch movies I love with others, and the purpose was great.” She further mentioned, “It’s because it allows me to show the most authentic version of myself,” and expressed how excited she was to talk about cinema.

Her comparison of the curation to a single flower is also noteworthy. Min Hee-jin explained, “Art has its own uniqueness and preciousness.” Regarding why the event poster features a single flower instead of a bouquet, she stated, “Each work is so important, and these films are so precious that I couldn’t even set a priority.”

This event is drawing significant attention as it takes place while Min Hee-jin is continuing her legal dispute with ADOR. It is reported that she recently established a new agency, OK Records, and is preparing to launch a new boy group.

The industry is keenly watching to see what stories Min Hee-jin will share during this time of direct communication and connection with the audience. Movieland added a playful warning to the event notice: “Warning: The GV might not end.”
