Actor Oh Min-seok and comedian Kim Ji-sun recently appeared on MBC Standard FM’s “Women’s Era with Yang Hee-eun and Kim Il-jung,” where they showcased their witty charm by sharing everything from behind-the-scenes stories of the play “Mrs. Macam” to honest life tales.
During the broadcast, Oh Min-seok introduced his character in the play “Mrs. Macam” and highlighted the key points of the production. He explained, “He is a very principled and stubborn character, but the humor comes from the way situations keep getting twisted,” describing the comedic atmosphere of the play.
Oh Min-seok, who revealed he has a great interest in Feng Shui, also shared his thoughts on the MBC Garden Studio. He expressed his satisfaction, saying, “The windows are wide, so plenty of sunlight comes in, and I can feel a warm energy overall.”
He also opened up about his love for grocery shopping. Known for his frugal nature, he meticulously checks for discount events and sales. He shared that people around him call him “Oh Min-soon,” which left everyone laughing.
He also candidly shared the reason he became an actor. Oh Min-seok wittily confessed, “While watching TV in the army barracks, I saw my ex-girlfriend make her debut,” adding that he became a celebrity out of a desire for “revenge,” which caused the studio to burst into laughter.
Kim Ji-sun also led the atmosphere with her signature bright energy. She impressed everyone by revealing her strict fitness routine, stating, “Even if my schedule ends at 11 PM, I always make sure to run for about an hour before going home.”
Regarding her challenge in the play, she explained, “Jo Hye-ryun suggested we do it together, which led me to try a new genre.” She shared her sincere motivation, saying, “I’ve always told children not to be afraid of challenges, so I felt ashamed that I was the one feeling scared.”
