Even though Kim Bum strongly insisted he was the one in charge of Korea, Ok Ja-yeon didn’t blink an eye while delivering a cold threat.
In the 8th episode of SBS’s ‘Sold Out’ (Directed by Ahn Jong-yeon / Written by Jin Seung-hee) aired on the 14th at 9 PM, a chilling conversation between Michelle (Ok Ja-yeon) and Seo Eric (Kim Bum) unfolded.
In the episode, Seo Eric rushed to find Michelle. Michelle, who was with Manager Cha (Kim Joong-don), was on the phone saying, “I’m with your father, Eric,” and “Don’t worry, and please don’t be too hard on him. I love you,” before hanging up.
Michelle looked at Seo Eric and sarcastically asked, “Is my little brother here?” Seo Eric showed her a photo on his phone and demanded, “What is this?” To this, Michelle replied, “I just thought it looked nice,” adding, “I wish you could smile and chat without any worries, just like in that photo.”

As a flustered Seo Eric called her “Noona,” Michelle told him, “You’ve worked hard all this time. Now Noona will take care of everything, so just relax and listen to some music you like.” She then turned to Manager Cha and asked, “Where was that place again?”
Manager Cha answered, “Hit.” Michelle looked at Seo Eric and told him, “Right, go to Hit and tell them you’ve changed your mind. Tell them you don’t want to broadcast anymore.” Seo Eric snapped back, “I’m the one in charge of Korea! I’ll handle it!” Michelle simply scoffed and asked, “Do you remember the story of the ox and the frog from ‘La Fontaine’s Fables’ we read when we were kids? What happened to the frog who kept inhaling air to become like the ox?” She then added, “It burst and died.”
Michelle continued her chilling threat, telling Seo Eric, “It would have been better if you just lived the way you always have, don’t you think?” Afterward, Michelle asked Manager Cha, “How is the factory manager doing?” Manager Cha replied that he is too fearful to speak and has been sufficiently compensated. Michelle then ordered, “Dispose of all the essence stock over there immediately.”
